i’ve started working on a series of work exploring childhood fears of an isolated, dystopian ‘australia’. the imagery is based on my memories growing up in the rural outskirts of sydney, surrounded by bush dwelling animals. i've always had a fascination with owls, a slight fear, but more so a curiosity... and a desire to have their wisdom!
